Don Buder

Don is a strategic legal advisor and venture financing counsel to Food & Beverage, Food Tech, and Ag Tech innovators and investors.  He represents “seed” ($0-$2mm annual revenue) and “scaling” ($2mm-$50mm) emerging food ventures in all of the major U.S. food innovation hubs, including the San Francisco Bay Area, Boulder, Brooklyn, Austin, Chicago, and Los Angeles.  His law firm, Davis Wright Tremaine LLP (DWT), has one of the largest Food & Beverage legal practices in the country, with over 40 attorneys who represent food companies at every level of food chain, from “Farm to Label”.  Don is a founder and the Board Chair of Naturally Bay Area (, the first regional affiliate of Naturally Boulder, and was a founding Advisory Board and faculty member at the Culinary Institute of America’s Food Business School (Napa Valley), where he taught the Food Venture Financing courses.
