Dr. Carsten Smidt is the owner of Smidt Labs, LLC (Sandy, UT). He is a well-known veteran in the dietary supplement industry with 30 years of leadership experience in R&D, innovation management and M&A technical due diligence at science-driven companies, such as Mead Johnson Nutritionals, Nu Skin/Pharmanex, Shaklee Corporation, USANA Health Sciences and doTERRA International. He holds a Ph.D. in Nutrition Science from the University of California at Davis, is a fellow of the American College of Nutrition, and is the author of many research publications and patents. Dr. Smidt is passionate about creating life-changing nutraceutical products as well as keeping fit and enjoying the outdoors.
